At AmanaCare, we talk often about the compassion of our caregivers, the trust families place in us, and the dignity we strive to honor in every home we enter. But there is another team — working quietly, consistently, and often after-hours — whose dedication makes everything we do possible.
This month’s Heartland Highlight is dedicated to our Compliance Team, the group that ensures our care is not only meaningful, but also dependable, ethical, and aligned with state and federal home care standards.
While caregivers provide hands-on support to clients receiving home health care Lincoln, home care Omaha, Medicaid waiver home care Kearney, home care assistance Scottsbluff, and LRI services for those asking “Can I get paid to care for a family member in North Platte?” — the Compliance Team is behind the scenes making sure every shift, every visit, and every service meets the requirements that allow us to care with excellence.
What the Compliance Team Does (That Many Don’t See)
This team monitors:
- EVV compliance (electronic visit verification)
- Clock-ins and clock-outs
- Scheduling conflicts & coverage needs
- After-hours concerns and urgent follow-ups
- Ensuring documentation remains accurate and lawful
- Supporting caregivers who are out in the field when unexpected issues arise
In short… they help keep care running smoothly so clients receive support without interruption — and caregivers feel supported every step of the way.
Meet the Team!
Team Lead/Office Coordinator— Cindy
Cindy has been with AmanaCare for nearly five years and brings a wealth of experience as a caregiver, Coordinator Team Lead, and administrative support staff.
She is often the first voice of the day, available from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday — leading with calm, clarity, and care.
Amanda — Compliance & Caregiver Support
Amanda has been with AmanaCare for over three years and brings experience as both a caregiver and a Care Coordinator.
She supports caregivers across multiple shifts and is also November’s Caregiver of the Month — recognized for her compassion, steadiness, and faith-driven care.
Dawn — Caregiver & Compliance Support
Dawn has been part of AmanaCare for 2.5 years and is known as one of our top-tier caregivers.
She now brings that same excellence into compliance support — understanding first-hand what caregivers experience in the field and stepping in with empathy and leadership.
Jay — After-Hours Anchor
Jay joined the team a year ago and is the one who answers the call when others have signed off for the day.
She handles after-hours support from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and also helps with office management and clerical needs.
Her presence brings steadiness at a time when many caregivers need reassurance or quick solutions.
