At AmanaCare, the new year isn’t just about resolutions and fresh starts—it’s also about celebrating the people who make our organization what it is.
To kick off the year, we invited our administrative team to participate in a lighthearted New Year’s “Most Likely To…” survey. The results? Equal parts hilarious, heartwarming, and incredibly telling of the culture we’re proud to build every day.
Here are the 2026 winners—voted on by their peers—and why we think these titles fit them perfectly.
Most Likely to Accidentally Become TikTok Famous in 2026
Tied Winners: BreeAnn Osborne & Eliot Wondercheck
BreeAnn feels like the obvious choice—she’s outgoing, bubbly, and no stranger to TikTok. Eliot, on the other hand… may not even know what TikTok is. And that contrast is exactly why this tie is so perfect.
BreeAnn serves as a Care Coordinator for Lincoln and Omaha, while Eliot is AmanaCare’s Hiring Manager. Together, they represent the beautiful balance of personalities on our team—creative and scholarly, energetic and thoughtful, all working toward the same mission.
Most Likely to “Just Look” at an Animal Shelter and Come Home with Five New Friends
Winner: Cindy Laws
No surprises here! Cindy is a licensed wildlife rehabber with a heart for all living things. With four children and thirteen grandchildren, her love for caring runs deep—and apparently extends to animals of every kind.
Cindy is our Lincoln Office Coordinator, helping process leads and referrals while overseeing our Compliance Team. Whether it’s people or pets, Cindy shows up with compassion every time.
Most Likely to Start a Goat Farm in 2026
Winner: Jentri Lara
Another animal lover takes the title! Jentri has been known to briefly introduce new furry friends during Zoom meetings—so a goat farm honestly feels very on-brand.
Jentri serves as a Care Coordinator in the Hastings/Grand Island area and brings the same warmth and dedication to families that she does to animals.
Most Likely to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse (and Help Others Do the Same)
Winner: Mikah Christensen
If intelligence alone counted, Mikah’s 4.0 GPA would probably seal the deal. But what truly earned her this title is her leadership and care for others.
As our Director of Care Coordination, Mikah consistently goes above and beyond to support her team. If zombies ever show up in Nebraska, we’re sticking with her.
Most Likely to Keep the Entire Nebraska Coffee Economy Afloat in 2026
Winner: Eliot Wondercheck
Eliot makes his second appearance here—and for good reason. Between earning his Master’s degree and working toward a PhD, coffee is basically a job requirement.
Known for his “coffee charisma,” Eliot is always ready to make an espresso—or at least teach you how to make one better.
Most Likely to Become Everyone’s Favorite Coworker by Bringing Snacks… Again
Winner: Kathy Quail
Kathy is a Scheduler in our Kearney office and comes from a family full of boys—three brothers, three sons, and two grandsons. Snacks are a love language in her world, and we’re grateful for it.
Whether sweet, salty, or both, Kathy’s treats show just how much she cares for her coworkers.
Most Likely to Pray for Their Coworkers Before 9 a.m.
Winner: Erich Nickman
Before becoming AmanaCare’s CFO, Erich served as a Catholic missionary. Faith continues to be an important part of his life and leadership.
At AmanaCare, faith is never forced—but it does shape how we do business. Our mission is to honor the God-given dignity of those we serve and lead, and Erich exemplifies that every day.
Most Likely to Turn Karaoke Night into a Personal Concert Tour
Tied Winners: Charlene Smith & BreeAnn Osborne
Charlene, a Scheduler in central Nebraska, is known for her infectious laugh, nonstop energy, and love for talking about client and caregiver wins.
BreeAnn joins her again here—busy mom, outdoors enthusiast, and apparently karaoke-ready. These two bring joy wherever they go.
Most Likely to Win “Best Dressed for Home Visits” in 2026
Tied Winners: Susanna Rogers & Heather Schanou
Fashionistas unite! Susanna (Business Development Specialist in western Nebraska) and Heather (Marketing Director) share a love for professional style, makeup tips, and the occasional “I love your necklace!” greeting.
They prove you can be polished, professional, and fun—all at once.
Most Likely to Fix a Problem Before Anyone Else Knows It Exists
Winner: Jenny Laschanzky
As AmanaCare’s Administrator and a member of executive leadership, Jenny has a hand in nearly everything—and somehow makes it look effortless.
Her calm demeanor, big-picture thinking, and problem-solving skills make her the go-to for complex situations. This win surprised no one.
Most Likely to Recruit a Caregiver or Onboard a Client While Standing in Line at Walmart
Tied Winners: Sara Schroeder & Amber Corbin
Sara (Scheduler in North Platte) and Amber (Business Development Specialist for central Nebraska) genuinely love people—and it shows.
Either one could strike up a conversation with a stranger and walk away with a new caregiver, client, or referral partner. Relationship-building is their superpower.
Most Likely to Organize a Spreadsheet Just for Fun
Tied Winners: Heather Schanou & Nikky Pierce
With marketing metrics, onboarding checklists, caregiver applications, LRI tracking, and budgets to manage, Heather and Nikky rely on organization to keep everything running smoothly.
If you’ve ever heard “I’ve got a spreadsheet for that,” it probably came from one of them.
More Than Superlatives
While these awards highlight just a portion of our administrative team, AmanaCare is supported by many dedicated staff members across all five Nebraska locations. Even if they aren’t starting goat farms or surviving zombie apocalypses, they are absolutely essential to how we serve families, caregivers, and communities every day.
