In June, Susanna and Heather had the honor of attending the Veterans Stand Down event in Scottsbluff, where they shared how AmanaCare provides faith-based, in-home care for Nebraska veterans. More than just offering a service, we listen, support, and guide—helping veterans navigate benefits and the application process so they can receive the care they’ve earned.

AmanaCare had a front-and-center spot at the event and was grateful for the chance to connect with so many incredible individuals. We spoke with veterans about how VA benefits can help cover home care services, allowing them to remain safe, supported, and independent at home—where they belong.

With three marketers across the state, we’re always happy to present to local groups about accessing VA benefits. One especially meaningful moment came when we met a pastor’s wife, the mother of an autistic son on the Medicaid A&D Waiver. When she heard we were a faith-based company, she became emotional and said, “God brought us together today.” Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
