Susanna, AmanaCare’s Business Development Specialist for Western Nebraska, has been busy spreading warmth and gratitude across the Panhandle. With her signature smile and heartfelt appreciation for local partners, she delivered “Fall Into Care” baskets to referral providers and agencies in towns like Scottsbluff, Gering, Chadron, and Alliance.

Her stops included Brookestone, the Gering Aging Office, the Chadron Hospital, and several healthcare providers and service coordinators throughout the region. Each basket was filled with seasonal goodies and thoughtful touches—a small token of thanks from AmanaCare to the professionals who dedicate their days to helping others.

Susanna’s work goes far beyond gift baskets. As AmanaCare’s connection point for western Nebraska, she plays a key role in helping seniors and individuals with disabilities access the Aged and Disabled (A&D) Waiver through Medicaid.

She guides families through the Medicaid Waiver Home Care Scottsbluff process, helping them understand eligibility, complete applications, and connect with the in-home care services they need. Many of these individuals might not otherwise be able to afford care, and Susanna’s compassionate guidance helps them stay safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Susanna has a deep admiration for the social workers, service coordinators, and care providers who make these vital services possible. That’s why she takes the time to visit them personally—building trust, strengthening relationships, and delivering small gifts that brighten their day. These gestures are her way of saying, “You’re appreciated. What you do matters.”

Born and raised in western Nebraska, Susanna’s passion for the area runs deep. She understands the values, challenges, and close-knit nature of Panhandle communities because she’s lived them. That genuine connection drives her to serve with both professional excellence and heartfelt compassion.

Her work ensures that home care assistance Scottsbluff families can depend on is accessible, meaningful, and rooted in faith and integrity—values that reflect the AmanaCare mission of honoring the God-given dignity of those we serve.

As autumn settles over Nebraska, AmanaCare is thankful for dedicated team members like Susanna—and for the healthcare heroes and community partners who make compassionate care possible across our state. Together, they embody what it truly means to Fall Into Care.
