Expanding Relationships. Strengthening Care. Serving Eastern Nebraska.

We’re excited to officially welcome Alicia Brown to the AmanaCare family as our new Business Development Specialist, serving eastern Nebraska, with a primary focus on Lincoln and Omaha. With more than 35 years of experience in healthcare sales and relationship development, Alicia brings not only deep industry knowledge, but something even more important—a genuine heart for people.

A Career Rooted in Compassion

Alicia’s passion for healthcare didn’t start with sales goals or titles—it started with empathy. She has always been a helper, someone who instinctively sees the person behind the situation. From a young age, Alicia understood that navigating health challenges requires patience, understanding, and advocacy. Over the years, she has witnessed friends and family members struggle through a complex healthcare system without guidance, often ending up overwhelmed, unsupported, or back in the hospital. Those experiences shaped her calling.

With faith as her foundation, Alicia believes this work is exactly where she is meant to be: helping families find care that fits their needs, their circumstances, and their budget—while treating them with dignity every step of the way.

Proven Leadership and Sales Expertise

Alicia’s professional background speaks for itself. Her career includes leadership and sales roles with organizations such as LabCorp, Nebraska Medical, Zynex Medical, and CHI Health at Home, where she consistently built trusted partnerships, grew territories, and supported care teams across Nebraska. She understands healthcare from every angle—clinical, operational, and relational—and knows how to connect providers with the right resources at the right time.

A former supervisor, Leo LaCroix, shared this about Alicia:

“Alicia is a hard worker, caring, and a strong team player. She is well liked by her team, family members, and customers that she works with.”

That reputation for integrity and follow-through is exactly what we value at AmanaCare.

Why Alicia is a Perfect Fit for AmanaCare

At AmanaCare, growth has never been about numbers alone—it’s about impact. In 2025, we experienced a 79% increase in reimbursable hours, and we anticipate continued growth in 2026, especially with Alicia joining our team. Her focus on relationship-building, community presence, and thoughtful networking aligns perfectly with our mission and momentum.

Alicia is particularly excited about:

  • Growing AmanaCare’s private pay services
  • Strengthening partnerships with referral providers across eastern Nebraska
  • Helping families navigate quality home care with clarity and confidence

She defines a “great day at work” simply: receiving referrals for families who need care—and making sure those families are supported smoothly, without barriers or breakdowns.

Caregivers at the Heart of Everything We Do

Alicia is joining a team that deeply values its caregivers—and that matters to her. At AmanaCare, 72% of our revenue goes directly to our caregivers, because we know they are the heart of our organization and the frontline providers making meaningful care possible. Our entire team stands behind them, understanding that our growth and success only happen because of their compassion, reliability, and dedication.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Alicia’s life is just as full of heart and personality. Originally from California, she grew up on a cattle ranch, competed in hunter and jumper horse shows, and earned her Bachelor of Science after attending college at UCSB. She and her husband met long-distance—Nebraska to California—and were married in 2002, when Alicia made Nebraska home.

Today, she enjoys life on her acreage with an unforgettable group of animals: two miniature donkeys (Burt and Ernie), horses (including a draft Shire in training), two dogs, and ten cats. When she’s not working or spending time at church, you might find her reading by the pool in Breckenridge with a good book and a glass of wine—her favorite way to unwind.

Let’s Connect

Alicia’s role is all about connection—connecting providers to resources, families to care, and communities to AmanaCare’s mission. If you’re a referral partner in Lincoln, Omaha, or anywhere in eastern Nebraska, we’re excited for you to meet her and experience firsthand the compassion, professionalism, and energy she brings to every conversation. To reach Alicia, call her at 531-427-1128 or email alicia@amana-care.com.

Please join us in welcoming Alicia Brown to the AmanaCare team. We’re confident her presence will strengthen our partnerships, expand our reach, and help even more Nebraska families receive the care they deserve.
