In February, we’re proud to recognize Izabele Frady, our Panhandle Caregiver of the Month, for her incredible dedication, kindness, and work ethic — all while balancing college life and cheering for Chadron State.
Izabele is a perfect example of how caregiving isn’t just a job — it’s a calling that builds character, confidence, and a future.
A Full Schedule, A Full Heart
Between classes, cheerleading, and personal commitments, Izabele still finds time to show up consistently for her client in Chadron. She currently serves a private-pay client, visiting in the morning and again in the evening — making sure care is covered.
Her willingness to step into a challenging schedule and make it work speaks volumes about her maturity and compassion.
“She is a college student, cheerleader for Chadron State. Good kid. Is doing really well with her new client, and referred a friend to work with us.”
— Charlene Smith, Scheduling Coordinator
“She is an excellent communicator and very kind and understanding. She picked up a client with a difficult schedule, but is making it work even with her in college and cheer. The family has said nothing but great things about her and really appreciate what she does for their mom.”
— Mattie Churchill, Care Coordinator
Why Caregiving Is a Great Job for College Students
Izabele’s story highlights something we believe strongly at AmanaCare: caregiving and college can go hand in hand.
We work closely with students to:
- Build flexible schedules around classes, athletics, and exams
- Provide real-world experience in communication, time management, and responsibility
- Offer meaningful work that looks incredible on a resume or graduate school application
Caregivers develop skills that employers in healthcare, education, social work, and business all value — empathy, leadership, reliability, and problem-solving.
Making a Real Impact at Home
Whether families are seeking in-home care post-hospitalization, personal care for the elderly at home, or searching for dementia in-home care services near me, caregivers like Izabele are often the reason they feel safe, supported, and hopeful.
Behind every care plan is a human connection — and Izabele brings that connection to life through consistency, kindness, and genuine presence.
A Team Effort in the Panhandle
Izabele’s success is also part of a bigger story in Western Nebraska. In January 2026, Susanna Rogers, our Business Development Specialist in the Panhandle, broke our all-time record for referrals and leads in a single month — a powerful sign that families and partners are recognizing the quality of care AmanaCare provides.
Our Care Coordinator, Mattie Churchill, plays a huge role in that success, ensuring caregivers and families feel supported, heard, and guided every step of the way.
Thank You, Izabele
Izabele, your heart for people, your dedication to your client, and your willingness to go above and beyond while pursuing your education inspire all of us. You represent the very best of AmanaCare in the Panhandle — and we are so grateful to have you on our team.
