That’s exactly why we’re proud to recognize Carolyn Peterson of Kearney as AmanaCare’s Caregiver of the Month for June 2026!

Carolyn has been part of the AmanaCare team since October 2025 and regularly cares for three clients in the Kearney area. Her coworkers, office support team, and clients alike consistently describe her as dependable, compassionate, gentle, and deeply committed to those she serves.

Chelsea Jensen, Care Coordinator for the Kearney area, nominated Carolyn for the recognition and shared:

“She is dependable, reliable, and willing to take on new clients. She forms genuine connections with her clients and embraces the Care360 vision. Her scheduler (Kathy) appreciates how she shows up and doesn’t miss her shifts. Carolyn is a great caregiver!”

Nancy Smolik, Director of Care Coordination, and Kathy Quail, Scheduling Coordinator for Kearney, both agreed wholeheartedly with Chelsea’s nomination.

Kathy especially appreciates Carolyn’s strong work ethic, caring heart, and consistency.

“Carolyn is dependable, has a good work ethic, is extremely caring, and makes sure her clients’ needs are met.”

That compassionate care is felt directly by the clients she serves, too.

One client shared that she and Carolyn have formed a special connection through their shared faith and enjoy spending time together.

Another client’s brother expressed gratitude for the relationship Carolyn has built with his brother, sharing that Carolyn regularly takes him to the library each week and that he genuinely enjoys her company.
