At AmanaCare, we believe that care extends far beyond the services we provide in our clients’ homes. Whether we’re participating in community events or simply brightening a client’s day, our mission remains the same: to honor the God-given dignity of those we serve.
Our Kearney and central Nebraska teams have been busy building relationships and making meaningful connections throughout the region.
Spreading Sunshine in Kearney
Recently, Chelsea Jensen, Care Coordinator for Kearney, and Kathy Quail, Scheduling Coordinator, spent time delivering summer-themed care packages to clients throughout the Kearney area.
These special deliveries served as a reminder to our clients that they are an important part of the AmanaCare family.
At AmanaCare, we know that small gestures can make a big impact. While our caregivers provide exceptional support every day, taking the time to personally connect with clients outside of regular visits helps strengthen relationships and reminds those we serve that they are valued, appreciated, and never forgotten.
The smiles, conversations, and gratitude shared during these visits are a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do.
Connecting with the Community at the Valley County Health Systems Annual Health Fair
AmanaCare Business Development Specialist Amber Corbin recently represented AmanaCare at the annual health fair hosted by Valley County Health System.
The health fair brought together healthcare organizations, businesses, and community resources dedicated to promoting wellness and providing valuable information to area residents. Events such as these offer an excellent opportunity for individuals and families to learn more about available healthcare services and local support systems. Valley County Health System’s annual health fair featured vendor displays, wellness information, screenings, and educational opportunities for attendees.
Amber connected with attendees, answered questions about AmanaCare’s programs and services, and distributed flyers, brochures, and promotional items designed to help families better understand their options for in-home care.
Community events like health fairs play an important role in connecting people with resources before a crisis occurs, empowering families to make informed decisions about their care needs.
Supporting Rural Healthcare Through Partnership
Collaboration remains one of the strongest tools we have to support patients and families.
Recently, AmanaCare partnered with Angels Care Home Health to host a Taco Bar Lunch & Learn for the staff at Callaway Medical Clinic and Callaway District Hospital.
The event provided an opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals, share information about available services, and discuss ways our organizations can work together to support patients throughout their healthcare journeys.
Strong partnerships between healthcare providers help ensure that individuals receive the right care, at the right time, in the right setting. By fostering these relationships, we can better serve patients as they transition between healthcare settings and return home.
