In western Nebraska, relationships matter—and Susanna Rogers understands that better than anyone. As AmanaCare’s Business Development Specialist for the western part of the state, Susanna spends her days building genuine connections with the people and organizations that support families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
From Scottsbluff to Alliance and Chadron, Susanna is a familiar and trusted face among service coordinators, hospital discharge planners, financial planners, estate attorneys, social workers, and community partners. Her legendary gift baskets may get people smiling—but it’s her thoughtfulness, consistency, and follow-through that leave a lasting impression.
Educating, Connecting, and Showing Up
Susanna regularly delivers presentations and educational updates to community partners, helping them better understand how AmanaCare supports individuals and families navigating health challenges, aging, and transitions home. Most recently, she spoke at Senior Life Solutions in Alliance, sharing how faith-based home care can enhance quality of life and provide meaningful support for both clients and caregivers.
During the holiday season, Susanna went above and beyond to spread gratitude and Christmas cheer throughout western Nebraska. Her December outreach included thoughtful visits and deliveries to:
- Aging Partners of Western Nebraska
- Community Action Partnership
- Regional West Medical Center
- Brookstone
- Family Medicine – Gering
She even made sure to deliver a little something special to the building owner and secretary at the Railway office building, where AmanaCare’s Scottsbluff office is located—because to Susanna, every relationship matters.
Rooted in the Community She Serves
Susanna’s connection to western Nebraska runs deep. She grew up in the Scottsbluff/Gering area, comes from an agricultural family, and now raises two children with her husband, Sean. That background gives her a natural understanding of the values, challenges, and close-knit nature of the communities she serves.
She also brings a deeply personal perspective to her work. Susanna has experienced firsthand what it’s like to have loved ones struggle with health and dementia-related issues—and she often shares that she wishes home care had been an option when her grandparents needed extra support. That experience fuels her passion for ensuring families today know their options and don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.
Faith, Compassion, and Purpose in Action
Thoughtful, intuitive, and compassionate, Susanna embodies what it means to serve with heart. You’ll often find her out in the community—educating, networking, listening, and connecting people with resources that can truly make a difference. Through her work, she helps bring AmanaCare’s faith-based mission to life, honoring the dignity of those we serve and strengthening the partnerships that make quality care possible across western Nebraska.
Susanna Rogers doesn’t just represent AmanaCare—she represents the spirit of community, care, and compassion that defines everything we do. To talk with Susanna about referrals, partnerships, or a presentation, visit www.amana-care.com/contact-us
