AmanaCare’s Omaha office is growing, and so is our commitment to building a strong local team equipped to serve families throughout the Omaha area. From investing in leadership development to welcoming new team members, there is plenty happening as AmanaCare continues to expand its presence in Nebraska’s largest city.
Investing in Leadership
In August, Jeff Nogg, AmanaCare’s Director of Operations for Omaha, joined members of AmanaCare’s leadership team at the AxisCare Super User Academy in Florida.
AxisCare is the platform AmanaCare uses to support many aspects of client and caregiver management, including scheduling, reporting, and operational efficiency. While AmanaCare has used AxisCare for some time, the conference gave Jeff and other branch leaders an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the system, learn from home care professionals from across the country, and bring new ideas back to their local teams.
The training is also part of AmanaCare’s larger investment in its Directors of Operations. As the company continues developing its branch office structure, leaders like Jeff are being empowered to take ownership of both operations and growth within their local markets.
For Omaha, that means building a strong team, developing community relationships, supporting caregivers and clients, and ensuring the office is prepared to meet the needs of a growing number of families.
Meet Lailoni Esparza
Another important member of the growing Omaha team is Lailoni Esparza, AmanaCare’s bilingual Onboarding Specialist.
Working under Nikky Pierce, Director of Onboarding, Lailoni helps welcome new caregivers to AmanaCare and guides them through the steps needed to begin their work serving clients.
Before joining AmanaCare, Lailoni worked as an HR Coordinator for a nonprofit healthcare organization, where she developed a passion for supporting both employees and the people they serve.
Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, Lailoni graduated from Omaha South High School and is proud to call Nebraska home. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, making memories, and relaxing at home with her cats.
Her connection to healthcare is also deeply personal. Watching her grandmother receive compassionate care during hospice inspired Lailoni to pursue a career where she could make a difference for others and the families who love them.
“What I love most about AmanaCare is how welcoming and kind everyone is. It’s truly a place where people care about one another, and I’m grateful to be part of that.”
Having a bilingual member of the onboarding team based in Omaha also strengthens AmanaCare’s ability to welcome and support caregivers from different backgrounds as the local workforce continues to grow.
Building the Omaha Team
Lailoni joins Jeff Nogg, Director of Operations; Tim Martens, Chief Growth Officer; and April Finnell, Scheduling Coordinator as members of AmanaCare’s Omaha office team.
Together, they are helping establish a stronger local presence for AmanaCare in a community known as a regional hub for healthcare. Omaha and the surrounding area are home to major healthcare systems, medical professionals, community organizations, and a growing population of individuals and families who may need additional support to remain safely and independently at home.
That creates an important opportunity for AmanaCare to work alongside the broader healthcare community by providing faith-based, non-medical home care once individuals return home or need additional day-to-day support.
Ready to Make a Splash in Omaha
Omaha offers the energy of a growing metropolitan area while maintaining the strong sense of community Nebraska is known for. For AmanaCare, it represents an exciting opportunity to introduce more families to a different kind of home care—one rooted in relationships, compassion, and faith.
But growing in Omaha is about more than opening an office. It means investing in local leadership, developing a strong caregiver workforce, creating community partnerships, and building an infrastructure that allows clients and families to feel supported from their very first interaction with AmanaCare.
With leaders like Jeff investing in their professional development, Lailoni helping caregivers successfully begin their journey with AmanaCare, and a growing Omaha team working together behind the scenes, the Omaha office is ready for action.
AmanaCare is excited about what’s ahead as we continue bringing Home Care Rooted in Faith to more individuals and families throughout Omaha and across Nebraska.
