AmanaCare’s Lincoln office has plenty to celebrate in 2026, but the team isn’t slowing down. From being named a Lincoln’s Choice 2026 winner earlier this year to investing in leadership development and operational training, AmanaCare continues building on its success to better serve individuals and families in Lincoln and throughout Nebraska.
Taking AmanaCare Leadership to the Next Level
In August, eight members of AmanaCare’s leadership team traveled to Florida to attend the AxisCare Super User Academy, an intensive training opportunity designed to help organizations maximize their use of the AxisCare platform.
AxisCare plays an important role in AmanaCare’s day-to-day operations, supporting client and caregiver management, optimizing scheduling, providing accurate reporting, and helping teams operate more efficiently. While AmanaCare has used AxisCare for some time, attending the Super User Academy provided an opportunity to go beyond the basics and empower leaders to use the platform to its fullest potential.
AmanaCare sent Directors of Operations representing its branch offices, along with members of executive leadership and onboarding. The goal was simple: invest in the people who lead AmanaCare so they can bring new knowledge, ideas, and efficiencies back to the teams and communities they serve.
One Director of Operations reflected on the experience:
“I’m so grateful to work for a company that believes in investing in its people and giving us opportunities to grow. This week, AmanaCare sent us to one of the most beautiful places for the opportunity to gather with people from all across the United States, learn from one another, and deepen our knowledge of a program we use every single day to help provide the best possible care for our clients.
There’s something pretty special about being able to step away from the day-to-day, connect with others who do what we do, share ideas, and bring home new knowledge that will make us even better at serving the people who depend on us.”
Empowering Local Leaders to Grow
The training comes at an important time as AmanaCare continues rolling out its branch office structure across Nebraska.
While AmanaCare’s home office is located in Lincoln and much of the executive leadership team lives and works there, statewide growth requires strong leadership at the local level. Directors of Operations in Omaha, Kearney, Broken Bow, North Platte, and Scottsbluff are increasingly entrusted with leading not only the operations of their individual offices, but their growth as well.
That means understanding their communities, developing strong local teams, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring clients and caregivers receive the support they need.
AmanaCare believes effective statewide leadership doesn’t mean making every decision from Lincoln. It means equipping trusted leaders throughout Nebraska with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to lead well in their own communities.
Building on a Lincoln’s Choice Win
Earlier this year, AmanaCare was honored as a Lincoln’s Choice 2026 winner, an achievement made possible by the clients, caregivers, families, team members, and community partners who continue to place their trust in AmanaCare.
But recognition like Lincoln’s Choice isn’t a finish line—it’s motivation to keep improving.
Investments in opportunities like the AxisCare Super User Academy are one way AmanaCare is building on that recognition. By continually developing leaders, improving systems, and sharing knowledge across branch offices, the Lincoln-based home office can help strengthen care not only in its own community, but throughout the state.
As AmanaCare continues to grow, the goal remains the same: empower great people to lead, give local teams the tools they need to succeed, and ensure more Nebraskans have access to compassionate, dependable care in the place they call home.
