What’s New in North Platte? A New Office, A New Coalition, and Community Connections

There’s been a lot happening at AmanaCare in North Platte lately, and we’re excited to share some updates with the community.

We Moved — Just Next Door!

AmanaCare recently moved office locations within the same building — we’re still in the Evans Building, but now we’re next door in Suite 205. Our new office is located at:

102 East 3rd Street

Upstairs, across the street from the courthouse

As AmanaCare continues to grow in North Platte and the surrounding communities, we needed more space. Our new office is twice the square footage of our previous space, and we are loving the extra room.

If you’re in the area, please stop by and say hi, North Platte friends! We always enjoy seeing familiar faces and meeting new people in the community.

A Small Thank You to the Aging Office

Community partnerships are very important to AmanaCare, and we always appreciate the work done by the West Central Nebraska Area Agency on Aging and their service coordinators who help so many individuals and families navigate services and resources.

Recently, Sara Yates, Scheduler, and Heather Schanou, Marketing Director, delivered flavored teas from The Fix, a popular North Platte spot known for healthy shakes and energy-boosting teas, to the service coordinators at the aging office as a small thank-you and pick-me-up.

Some of the flavors included:

Jolly Rancher
Lime
Coconut
Mango

The service coordinators said the drinks were a great afternoon pick-me-up, and we were happy to brighten their day just a little. We appreciate all the work they do for our community.

We’re Proud to Be Part of North Platte

Between growing our office, participating in the North Platte Aging Coalition, and continuing to build partnerships in the community, AmanaCare is proud to be part of North Platte and the surrounding communities.

We look forward to continuing to serve local families, support caregivers, and work alongside other organizations to make North Platte a great place to live, work, and age.
